the facebook complainers are hackers, spammers or geeks. it works great for the majority of users that just want to connect with family and friends and share photos and links. the people on gfy complaining about fb are typically pissed that their spam pages got shut down. they aren't using it for its intended purpose.
if timberlake makes a social site for music fans, that will be great. myspace tried to do that but they allowed too much personalization, which allowed hackers and spammers too much access. i stopped using it way before fb came along. fb was never a myspace replacement for me.
fb is a family and friends social site. myspace will be a social site for music fans. in my opinion, i see a lot of micro-niche social sites coming onto the scene in the next 12-24 months. there wont be a fb replacement anytime in the near future, just more social groupings..
