It's the equivalent of trying to chug a fifth of booze. Much safer tho - alcohol is a powerful CNS depressant and kills at dose levels not that far beyond effective levels.

Using the correct dose is important with all drugs.
Salvia is not all that interesting, a boring one-note psychedlic, but because it's legal it will be used for rite-of-passage overdose stunts like the one in the video.

5meodmt is really something you should start with a very low dose and slowly work your way up. Great stuff. I've seen plenty of people do WAY too much and have similar reactions.
When doing this kind of shit, one should ALWAYS have a sober sitter.
Jimsonweed/datura is a fucking horrid thing to do and produces true hallucinations that you actually believe are real. That's the kind of shit that will make you vacuum your parents living room naked at 4 am.
BTW I highly disagree with you about salvia being 'boring' and 'one-note'.
