I guess that depends if you are in the "all publicity is good publicity" camp, because you would definitely get a ton of publicity. People are always looking for a reason to be outraged, and with all the strong feelings on this case I can't see a publicity stunt ending well.
You ever listen to Opie and Anthony on XM/Sirius radio? During the trial Anthony was fucking around and Tweeting how he thought Casey was innocent because "she was too pretty to be a murderer" and crazy crap like that, and the extreme amount of hate Tweets he got in return was insane. There are way too many explosive emotions wrapped up in this case to go the cheap publicity route...
