I've fought online pirates for longer than most of you. Back in the mid 90s I was a member of APIC and then the fight was often against people flat bed scanning magazines pages and using them. Steve Easton predicted piracy would be a very big problem in the future if not dealt with effectively. That was 15 years ago.

The number of people who are now or were then big players who have told me they started off by pirating my stuff is too long to bother.

Today the problem is now biting you guys in the ass and it's a sort of Karma. But the problem goes deeper.

Go here http://www.filesonic.com/premium and see who bills for them.

How many sponsors, sites bill with them and how many affiliates send traffic to those sites?

It seems the ethics of online porn only comes to the front when it hurts them. Doing business with a Dating site that lies to it's customers is fine, sending traffic to a scamming sponsor is fine, buying traffic from a Tube site full of pirated content is fine, as is advertising on them. In fact I did take their money, only because it was a lot and I had to. Shame on me.

You're like King Canute. If you think you can turn back the tide by shouting.

Even if by some magic there's a law to stop piracy, your incomes won't climb much. The guys pirating to view porn, will go to Tubes that are legal.

The only way forward is to adapt to the changes. Selling pre recorded lame porn scenes isn't going to last very long. So unless you can come up with an online porn alternative. Go work somewhere else before it's too late.
