Let me rephrase your reply to how it should read... " Reagan got America to spend more money, bankrupting America, when the Soviets were already bankrupt."
Reagan bankrupted our Country FAR more than the Soviets ever reached, and you think we won the cold war? Hellllloooo, using your logic, it would mean we lost, by a shit ton.

Pick and choose as usual, lets start with your statement that the cold war was ending before Reagan took office.
He took office in 81, just a couple years after the Soviets started using a new submarine called the Alpha Class, a submarine that could out run one of our torpedo's
then after Reagan took office, they came out with the Typhoon class submarine, the biggest submarine in history loaded with more destructive power that any one platform in history, they made a movie about that sub, you might have seen it?
It wasn't ending, it was escalating.
You may not agree with how he did it, but the fact stands, he did it and the cold war was over. I was in the Navy in the middle of it and I knew far more than you can look up on the internet and I'm glad it's over......

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
