Not sure the criteria they use, since there' a couple Yankees in the 3,000 hit club
- Wade Boggs
- Dave Winfield
- Rickey Henderson
None of them are career Yankees and probably didn't get #3000 as a Yankee. It's an amazing feat and a testament to his consistency over the years.
