of course.. the same reason bush took us into iraq..
the people werent behind the first gulf war and things would have turned ugly if there would have been mass US casualties..
after 9/11 everyone got behind the war and now we have a huge military base in the middle east that will be used to continue or conquest to control every resource we can get our hands on...
the US will be engaged in military conflict from this point on...
there will never be peace again...
