That's pretty much my thinking on it, but a lot of people still have fears about it and take all kinds of precautions and avoid doing certain things.
I haven't heard about anyone getting killed by lightning in the past few years, but you still hear the stories about someone dying in the shower during an electrical storm, or the like. Some people get paranoid I guess.
