Traffic is pretty bad in LA as it is... so when they shutdown a major freeway on an ultra common route, you get carmageddon... although, I think it's over-hyped also.

Most people take the 405 to get around, an alternative route would be going completely around, 10 to the 5 or visa versa; a difference of 40 minutes... but with carmaggedon traffic, OH YEAH FUCKING RIGHT! Most likely this is going to stir up traffic around the 4 major freeways, 10, 5, 101 and 405 :]
