I pretty much had the same experience.. asked if it was live then got banned. So came here and asked earlier in the thread.
Oh well, to each their own I guess.. but I definitely consider it bad business for people to be banned so quickly. I mean, they beg and beg and beg and beg for tips and private, yet ban people who ask a question. And yes, it does indeed look pre-recorded as I have never seen a live stream with cut scenes/scene jumps before. Did I mention how much they beg?
Up to you how you run your gig at the end of the day though.
I look at it this way... as a customer, why should I be willing to pay anything to a site for such rude behavior.
As a program owner and affiliate site network operator, I have to ask why would I send potential customers to a site where they'd be treated like trash? Sure, you can respond and tell me to take my traffic elsewhere, but in reality that is a horrible business model to follow.
