you cannot successfully claim who are legitimate users and who are not.
until there will be some sort of license validating mechanism for all people and all content, your stats are simply pulled out of thin air.

how can you know this???? lets say there is person X gave song to person Z, they don't report this to anyone, how do you know they shared something and if person Z bought this song after all or not? hows your 83% account for millions people who you have know idea what they share and what they buy and how you correlate this unknown sharing number with buying numbers?
