Yeah, not a lame excuse... some how, some magic invisible policies, have made a company post record profits, yet those same magic invisible policies, some how also make the person too scared to hire.

How about we use a tiny bit of logic? Something like.... oh look, we're making record profits doing nothing, while not hiring anyone, shiiiitttt why change anything? Oh yeah, we have to justify to our stock holders why we aren't doing anything. Wait, I got it! Let's blame the same administration that's made us record profits, perfect - the sheep will buy that without question!
