I told someone on social security but not yet eligible for medicare to do that and everything is being taken care of. They're being charged based on their income and ability to pay. All of the heart tests cost like $150 (would have been thousands) and the cardiologist is $25 a visit. The hospital also wrote off their ER bill as charity.

If she's been to the hospital for this, tell her to call the hospital's in-house social worker, who will make all of the connections.

I know who you're talking about.. I think!! I remember someone I knew talked to a certain "one department" at the hospital one time and got some care some how.... that is a great idea.

We've had several tests ranging from $10 to $200 and now they're "trying to find an endo she can afford who will see her"
