Silly ad, for sure. If you intend to make money doing that, though, never mind what
someone else is posting. Among the most pointless things I've done in decades of
running businesses has been to concern myself with what "the competition" is
posting. Just do a great job. Word gets around about who is actually really good
and who is not. Some people reading this thread have probably seen me reply to
posts here from a "competitor". I'm sure your opinion of our company was GREATLY
improved by my getting into that BS.
If you need to, put up a little web page listing your qualifications, assuming that
you have some. At the same time, list some of those same qualifications on a
one page flyer and a little bit on a business card / ad. Walk into local businesses
with those in hand and chat with your fellow local business owners.
