Well, I do not care too much about the dash. Actually, when I register a new domain name I always prefer without dashes or numbers.
I think is better a dash than a number!
In this case because the domain is good (I love the "extreme" word) and aged (I like aged domains) I bought without think too much.
I agree with you Harvey, the quality of my work, my connections and my portfolio that will matters. This rule applies for people who work for another people / company.
And I'm not an adult only web designer. I work most with mainstream. The thing is that I can't show all jobs at the same website.
