Unfortunately my extended warranty is up on my 2007 corvette. I have had it since 07 when I bought it brand new. It is paid off. The car is worth 29k now blue book and I only have 32k miles on it. I have gone through 3 tires already and they are $470 a pop and because they are low profile tires they will keep wearing out. No other issues as of yet.

Your opinion is needed on this please. Since i know you guys are all car guys it would help.

My options:

1.) trade the car in for something else. I was looking at 370z or maybe a infiniti or audi BUT it looks like I will have to come out of pocket to buy a new car because all these cars are worth more then what my corvette is. I am just annoyed because no matter what car I get 5 years from now, I will be lucky to get half of what its worth. so if i get a 30k car it will only be worth 15k. No matter what I will eventually have to finance a new car 5 years down the road or keep the one I have.

2.) Buy a car for less and pocket the cash. Not sure if I can get a crappier car though and abandon style.

Any thoughts please? I have until October when my warranty is up. I was told by the dealership NOT to buy another extended warranty for the corvette. Not worth it they said. Ill miss my car argg.
