That's what the manufacturers, banks and dealers love you to believe. You don't have to have a car in waranty at all times. It's a money pit constantly buying a new car every time the warranty expires. Would you buy a new watch because the warranty expires? no. If the product is a good product then keep it. Period.
Be smart. Sell the money pit and buy a good used one off the lot. Drive it until repairs outweigh a payment on another used one.
There's very little difference between a new and slightly used model aside from the payments.
