If you're going to sell it and get an older cheaper car, get a C5 Corvette. You can find one that's very, very modified for under 20k. Or an 03/04 Cobra.
I would personally keep the Vette though. You don't drive it enough to really have major issues, and even then if you don't mod/beat the shit out of it, it will last 150k miles before having really major issues.
