People seem to confuse polygamy with child abuse. Thats the only reason it is illegal in these times, and these are two completely different topics.
The only way it would become legal is when woman start having two, five, or ten husbands themselves.
It seems to be major attraction to sex abuse offenders which give the whole establishment of polygamy a bad name.
It's the same as politicians and judges saying legal 18+ porn websites are the same as child pornography. Which is becoming more and more a trend lately with people trying to cash out in bullshit lawsuits these days.
