LOL this thread make me feel very very old and I am just 36.
I searched in youtube for some events where I was present, amazingly I found a few and I remember them very well I even cry I recognize some friends.

These was epic and done once a year in Italy until early 2001 or 2002 - I missed no one of these, then they simply stopped as new generations was for other stuff there.
There was also some radio all about this music and these gone all in late 1990's. In germany it lasted longer
