And usually the conversion requirement strongly works to their advantage in some way. For instance one program requires that you keep a certain free to paid ratio to be paid for your frees. Not unusual but they also require that ratio to be calculated every 15 days. So if you send 300 frees from the 1st to the 15th then you've sent them for free if none of them convert to paid. Worse if you make a paying sale on the 16th you still get nothing for the 300 you already sent last period.

I wish programs would just step up and offer .75 a free join and then simply terminate my account after paying me if it doesn't work out for them. I don't like the uncertainty of the conversion requirements and constantly having to babysit. With all the other offers they try to upsell the customer with as well as then email marketing you'd think they would be able to pay a straight .75 -$1 per free provided the leads are real and not forced.
