That, and the fact that you wouldn't be taking a life for no reason. We aren't talking about pulling the trigger to kill a random person for no reason.

What if the guys coming at you are Veterans?

It's one thing to think about it, or do it on a computer screen.

The problem is the odds are the guys coming at you have less to lose and more to gain than those they're going after. Imagine a bunch of guys from the "hood" also armed to the teeth, coming after you.

Being trained to fire a gun, shooting a deer, or having a cupboard full of weapons, Isn't proof you can actually kill someone when they're standing in front of you with a gun.

The change was triggered by a discovery that Gen S.L.A. Marshall made during the Second World War. He sent out teams to interview American infantry companies immediately after combat, with a guarantee that each soldier`s testimony would remain absolutely confidential — and he learned that up to 90 per cent of those American infantrymen had found it impossible to kill enemy soldiers.

Here's a lot more to read. http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en#sc...w=1280&bih=811 Go read it and think about it. They were fighting next to their buddies, trying to stop them from getting killed and still the found it tough to shoot to kill.

Mr Middleclasssuburban is kidding himself, odds are the perp will shoot him with his own weapon.
