i have the same problem occasionally. A lot of that sounds like sleep deprivation, whether it is sleep apnea or you spending too much time on the laptop at night only you would know, but I have gone through both and that is almost always the cause of it.

One thing that has really worked well for me lately is I have started doing some laps in the pool again. Something about the forced breathing really seems to open up the airways and I find myself breathing better and sleeping better. It could be a bit from the fatigue too, but either way I feel a lot better and that's only after 3 days of doing it.. can't hurt to try it out anyway....well as long as you are able to swim
