I don't believe a model new to this industry can argue with the experienced program owners and affiliates about what is needed when promoting. While from a models view, it seems ok to only offer this and that because of your reasons. But from a business standpoint, it doesn't make much sense. It's 2011 and the solo niche isn't a very large one, theres a handful of big affiliates left, to fully take advantage of that and have any sort of profit margin, you have to have a website firing from all cylinders, which means video fhg. Another thing you need is a good rebill ratio, the number one thing that leads to rebills, is video. So you can blab all you want and defend yourself but we know the profit margin and you don't. we know what video will do to a site, you dont.
and btw, from the way you talk, it very much sounds like a webmaster.
And about your comment about what people want to see in videos, thats not true actually, they just want to see video. Video of you, doing whatever you do. They could care less if youre getting fucked. But it's nice to know that "Harley Spencer" knows what the surfer wants.
And nobody was arguing the reason why the model was not doing video, they were arguing the fact that they want to promote your program and it has no video. If theyre going to complain about that, allow them to, there is no need to come in and be offended about it. If you understand, no point in seeming hostile.
Im sure most of us know the owner knows that he rather have a model doing more and this is a start. Nobody is knocking your program.
I have to say one thing though, I hope the model is on a percentage, you've already shot atleast 8-10 months worth and the owner is the photographer also.
I have another question, if youre site is fully functional, why no marketing yet?
"Come on man, gimme a break. I don't care if you want to see video, I'm not doing it, at least not the way you want to see it, so what? That's my business"
You sound like a great business person, perfect for the forum and getting affiliates on your side. lol
And youre going to waste alot of time going off on rants everytime somebody mentions your website lacking a certain feature, especially when it's true.

Pretend all you want, because this is me, this is Harley Spencer. You already heard from the owner on this thread, Blazer Media.
You're right, not everyone wants to see people fucking, which is the type of video I'm working on. Behind the scenes stuff, other clips of other things, etc.
Forgive me for coming off as hostile, I know I did and I figured someone would react the way you did to it. There are some things I probably shouldn't have said, but oh well, I said it, I can't take it back.
Yeah I know that some of what I said is probably going to turn some people off, including people that would like to promote the website and people that are potential members. Again, I probably shouldn't have said some of those things, but.... too late for that.
Why no marketing yet? We're working on it. So far what I've done is sign up for things, and some of those things took time. For example, this website. They took nearly a month to finally approve me, and now I'm going to start some marketing. Same goes for other websites.
The owner is not the photographer. He is the producer and the owner, that's it. There are other people that are the photographers. We give percentages to myself, the producer, and the photographer(s).
I sound like a webmaster? Alright. Well, I'm the model. Just because I know what I'm talking about doesn't mean I'm not a model. Believe it or not, I'm pretty smart. If you don't agree with everything I say or do, that's fine, you don't have to.
If the owner wanted more from me, he wouldn't be working with me. There's plenty of fish in the sea that he could work with. But he's working with me, we were both aware of everything that would be going on, what I'm comfortable with, what I can do, and so on. We are both aware of the pros and cons of what our website contains.
Perhaps the things I do or don't do don't make much sense to you or other people, but they make sense to me. It's certainly not going to be as successful as the programs that do offer more, and I'm willing to accept that. I sincerely enjoy what I do.
What thing I need to work on is marketing and appealing to a certain audience, which isn't the audience that prefers what I don't have. I'm not going to go into detail about what I'm working on, how I'm working on it, or why I'm working on it. That's another discussion.
