I didn't ask you if you volunteered at a local animal shelter. Being as your so much smarter than 99% of all Americans (you said "Every since I was a teenager I have been racking my brain trying to figure out why 99% of the population are so dumb they will believe whatever the media and government tell them".), I asked what you've done to fix the problem of the US becoming a "police state" (you said: "...and the USA becomes one big police state....").
I asked if you volunteer at a local shelter - feeding the homeless, making beds, helping homeless people find jobs and find shelter.
You don't understand what I'm getting at, do you? You seem to think that when you were a teen you were able to see more than 99% of the "dumb" US population. But the reality is your part of that 99% who believes what is feed to you - Maybe not from the media, but from other sources. You seem to believe the government always lies to you, and that everything is a conspiracy theory.
The police state has been coming for at least the past thirty years, if not longer. I remember hearing the stories when I was a kid about how big brother would be able to spy on you instantly. When they passed the Patriot Act I trembled in my boots, afraid that the US government might mistake me for a terrorist, tap my phones, and discover the dinner plans I made with my wife. And when the federal government broke down my neighbor's door and took him away, I did not speak up because I was too afraid they might take me too.
I'm sure you believe in global warming too. Keep in mind that when I was a teen, they were telling us an ice age was coming. One way or another we are all going to die, and in the mean time they keep us in fear to justify their jobs.
Your conspiracy theory that twenty US Navy Seals were killed today to silence them from revealing that the Bin Laden mission never took place holds no water at all. The people who were killed today did not take place on the raid in Pakistan. Now who feels stupid?
