I'm not 100% sure how that works. It would seem to me that if you are here illegally that as soon as you applied they would catch you and deport you. I wonder if many of these people are using fake SSN's etc. There was a woman that worked with a friend of mine for 15 years who turned out to be illegal. She had a fake SSN and used it to join a union, buy a house, get a car and lived a normal life. She was in the US for 20 years that way before she got caught. Still without fake documents or a kid born here you can't just come into the country and start getting welfare.
You can get free healthcare at the ER and urgent care centers. You can also hit up the food banks. Many of them have a legal friend that rents a place and then many others live with them.

cost of an anchor baby, lets see $10,000 just an easy birth
then there are food programs, yes welfare, one county reported in cost and the article was pulled 2 days later from the internet site.
Extra bilingual teachers for the schools, anyone that's had a kid grow up in California, knows how fucked it is.
You have to remember how many sanctuary cites are in the US that allow this shit

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
