Hahaha, Stuart, that is funny!
When I came up to Van in March, the INS guy asked me if I had anything to declare and I was like, no, I just got here...
He said -- 'you are coming to visit friends and you didn't bring them gifts?'
I said, 'hell no, they should be buying me gifts, I'm headed for Robson St.' --
so he looked at me funny and let me thru ;)
I always declare something coming home, even if it's only $40 in tshirts or some such nonsense.
