It's probably covered in their affiliate agreement. Usually these essentially say "We can do everything we want at any time while you have to hold your nose and hop on one leg while putting up links" But that doesn't mean you can't try by lawyering up or advancing the idea that it's fraud.
It's risky to rely on long term models with any company who hasn't demonstrated impeccable integrity. Even then you have no idea who they might sell to.
