It was a while before Nato got involved, and for all the idiots saying "where will the US strike next?" you should know that the United States was of the first counties that did not commit any forces in the beginning. Only then did the armed revolution begin. I'm positively sure Quadaffi would have killed all his people before giving up power.
There were also a lot of criticism that Nato did not get involved earlier.

It has nothing to do with Egypt or Syria. Your thoughts on Egypt and Syria connecting are just like the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict. The media paints a certain picture to connect un related events.
The media has painted a picture about Quadaffi for years now. Just like they did with Sadaam.
The west wants to come in and force debt and seize control of the major resources away from the population.

"I'm positively sure Quadaffi would have killed all his people before giving up power." Reporters were not allowed in but you're somehow sure he would have killed his own people? Who and how what made you come to this conclusion?
Where are people being shot down in the street? All i saw was citizens holding up Green flags which are to support their leader. Who the majority of citizens support.
The wests use of media is highly specialized and extremely intelligent. They always create an external enemy so people are blinded to what is really going on. If the population constantly distracted with an outside enemy or fear then they will never revolt because they feel they need "protection".
Be it Sadaam, be it Al Qaeda be it Quadaffi. It is all the same.
Start watching movies on the Palestinian conflict (unrealted just suggesting) and then read on how CNN reports the conflict. It should help you wake up to the way they twist stories to always favor a certain timeline.
The people of Libya are not anti Quadaffi and just because the western media paints that on TV it does not make it truth.
How could anyone possibly think it is ok that this is happening? More wars, more deaths. for whos gain? to "liberate" the people? which people? and when did "the people" ever request to be liberated. Being liberated is not dropping bombs onto people. I can guarantee you they do not feel liberated.
It is another Iraq and Afghanistan on the way. The west gets to decide who the "right" opposition is. Because they fund this very opposition and all the other groups always turn out to be "terrorists".
