The Legality of 2257 and EU privacy laws.

As it was explained to us by our lawyer here, we are allowed to give ID documents to customers. However they are not to be given to third parties.

Got a lot of grief from a few sponsors who wanted to give the IDs to affiliates a few years ago.

So what do I do when a person, I don't really know only as an Internet client, ask for IDs without the models ID number redacted so he can give it to a third person who will act as a document holder?

My understanding of 2257 is that the publisher needs to hold the documents, not a third person and then are we breaking EU law in allowing hm to give it to a third person?

Rock and hard place.
