there is a 32bit and 64 bit windows you need 64bit to run over 3.25 gigs of ram.

yes windows still sometimes need a reboot usually once every 1-2 months for updates.

I knew Windows was about a decade behind on security, just starting to experiment with mandatory access control, but I didn't realize they were that far behind on hardware support. Do you guys still have to bring the whole system down just to update a desktop app? I remember in Win95 I had to reboot about three times just to update IE.
