yes, myself and my crew are a bunch of turds who don't use ICQ and lack social skills. We're also pretty busy to play the PR game, so we're on a lose-lose situation to that respect.
THUS....
1 - Not even our own clients who use us every day are voting us
2 - Not even the people we have helped for free voted for us
3 - People for which we had made millions of dollars admitted they voted someone else that didn't made them a cent because... they were asked to (damn social skills
)
THEREFORE....
Although we're in pretty good company with the best
design companies in the industry (I almost feel embarrassed to get my votes than Dickmans or Adult Design), we could really use some votes. Not only because we would obviously like to be recognized by the community to which we gave so much (and we got a lot in return as well
) but also because, like many people know, I'm a fan of design. I might not be the best, but I love it. I breathe it. It's what I chose to do despite what I studied, it's in my mind every single minute of the day. Many people knows how I always stood for designers, explained them how to improve, how to defend themselves, how to get respect. It's my passion.
With all my limitations, and those of my team, we always strive to get better and better, and when we could, we were among the first to innovate in adult (CSS only, AJAX, WP CMS, adaptive design, HTML5, JQuery tools, etc). It takes a lot of time=money to do so, but like I said, it's my passion, a passion that I'm happy to say it's contagious to my team. Many people knows that we even worked way above what we were asked for just because of our pride and passion, just because we felt it could be done better.
And like most of you know, I'm a very honest person, which is more a problem than a quality, but I can't and won't change at this point of my life. And in all honesty, it really hurts that this community and this industry is choosing outsourcing companies over the design companies that molded this industry, for bad or for good, what it takes
I know that the "troll herds" like to have fun and this post may hurt us more than what it will help. So be it. I see people voting for Fatfoo or ban Eric or Theo, so it's not that I don't know how things work.
But I never asked for anything here, so this time I'd like to invite you to
vote for us . We are passionate about what we do and would like you to share that passion with us
