And architects and designers have been EDUCATED to the fact that it is a design element, like a cross or circle. That shape has been used for centuries in design.
When you see it as a racist symbol, you are supporting one jerk's use of it (hitler/swastika) and further continuing to give him credit for it. It's NOT just his symbol. It is a design element, especially used in architecture for wings of a building. It creates a solid structure that way, nothing to do with racism. Nothing.
