I have friends and family with both. IBS/IBD can be "controlled" more with low fiber, low caffeine diets. Crohns on the other hand usually diet will only make a slight difference

my brother had Crohns pretty bad and nothing helped. he finally got sick of it and got the surgery. proctocolectomy and ileostomy I believe but he is million times better off now then he was before. Glad hes doing great and awesome to have my brother back
