those dresses cost a fortune. i do wonder what they do with them afterwords.
we had a family stay near me when i was about 14. they were nice. i used to give them water. it was hard to understand them as they had a strong accent.
one asked if i had a job and i said no. he said, thats mrs thatchers fault. i did not have the hart to tell him it was becase i was only 14 and still at school.
though when they went they did leave some rubbish in the field they were staying at. i felt let down as i was sticking up with them.
but there was no crime.

i always wonder how they afford those weddings, it doesn't say in the show. they make it seem like the one and only thing in their world that money is spent on so i assumed maybe the entire traveler community paid the expenses. it's nuts how brainwashed the girls are from such a young age...taught to get married, clean the trailer and become the property of the man. i want to reach through the tele and shake them hard to snap out of it. a couple of the larger clans they followed on the show were Irish...i also wonder what nationality the travelers are mostly comprised of or if it's just a mix of the UK. the US is currently casting for a version of the show based on our country's "travelers". i don't know what we call them here other than homeless..never heard the term traveler over here.
