You know how people say shit like "Carlton is the whitest black dude I ever met"? well, Many black people I know say I am the blackest white dude they know. I grew up around them, I know their culture, I listen to their music. Not JUST rap, but soul, r&b, funk, you know, the REAL shit! I am not your run of the mill white dude from the suburbs. I was raised by the hood. And if you look at me, I don't 'look' black I 'look' white, I don't pretend to be anything. Sure when I was a teen I wore the baggy pants and blasted the rap music off my front porch, but I am grown and I am true to my REAL 'fam'!
So yeah, they ARE 'fam', they probably done more for me than my 'blood' because they are REAL! They have LOVE!
