I have yet to get into The Wire myself. Out of all the series I took a look at, only 2 of them held my interest enough to watch the entire series:
Prison Break
Weeds
Prison Break was by far my favorite, I couldn't stop watching episode after episode. Weeds had the obvious interest to me.
But yeah, if you haven't watched Prison Break I suggest checking it out.
