Without a doubt, for shared hosting no other company comes close
There are hosting companies I know who promote themselves on this forum, I won't name names, but they don't answer their phones and take over 24 hours to reply to emails; not much use when your site is down.
Hostgator are there 24/7 on Live Support, they are a dream and will even go the extra mile and help you out with things that they don't have to.
