From Gaydapedia:
Millepied was born in Bordeaux, France of course, and raised in Dakar, Senegal where he had easy access to his favorite, dark meat. He is the youngest of three brothers; please god don't make me picture that. His formal ballet training started at the age of eight with his mother, a former ballet dancer, but he was born to wear pink and fling himself with abandon across the stage of life. Between the ages of 13 and 16, besides "learning about himself" he "studied" with Michel Rahn at the Conservatoire National in Lyon, France.
Millepied met actress Natalie Portman on the set of Black Swan in early 2009 and left his live-in beard at the time, American Ballet Theatre dancer, now soloist, Isabella Boylston. It was reported that Millepied and Portman had been instructed by their respective publicists to begin pretending to date by New Year's Eve 2009. In reply, Millepied is said to have responded, "I'll do what I need to to get famous, these tutus aint paying the bills". On December 27, 2010 it was revealed that they were engaged and had somehow conceived a child in the summer of 2011. On June 14, 2011, it was announced that Portman had given birth to a baby boy named Aleph Portman-Millepied, at once cementing their union and creating the gayest name ever.
Trivia: In his first language, French, his last name means "thousand feet" - a very apt name for a fruity dancer and choreographer. Haha, delicious!
