Even ten years later, what happened on that day is still beyond my comprehension. I watch footage of the towers coming down and tears well up in my eyes. I stare in disbelief, and I do not understand.

No matter what happened over the last decade, no matter how the media plays the events of 9/11 for their own benefit... a LOT of really good people died for absolutely no reason.

The media and politicians can say what they want. When those buildings came down, a lot of people - fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons - died. When I watch the towers fall, I am watching people die.

To this day it breaks my heart. It will continue to do so until I am dead and buried.
