Nathan: I think it's your TONE that people are having issues with here. Whether something is liable or not is a legal distinction, one not to be settled here. However, your cavalier attitude, then justifying it by pointing fingers, is painting you as something less than professional, mean-spirited and cocky. Now I assume you are none of these things but I would think being nothing but sympathetic - REGARDLESS of what "the truth" may be, or what liability there is - would be the smart PR move, no?
