What no matter incoherent nonesense I post here at GFY, as a Canadian, I thank the United States of America for providing me with a good living. Something my own country never did...

I'm a really shallow person - as I'm sure you know - but I love you all with every inch of my being.

Although many of you will vehemently disagree with me, I'm going to offer up what I consider to be the most heartfelt and honest American song ever written.

Of course - along with Pete Seeger and his own father - its easy to dump Arlo into the commie pile. Personally, I consider Arlo (and Woody) to be the greatest American musical artists of all time.

Arlo might be a shit-disturbing disident, but if he wasn't American he would not be free to express how he really feels.

Regardless of what you believe, I love your country with every beat of my heart. Sadly, I doubt anyone gives a shit.

As a liberal bleeding-heart Canadian - and I've said this before - I love the United States of America.

Sorry if I'm out of line, there just seems to be a lot of people who bitch and whine about the freedoms that so many Americans have died to protect.
