Thanks again for the link, I think I just might go ahead and pop for it. I was about to set out to buy a really nice camera and another video camera as well.. Looks like I might get some utility out of this bad boy.

Body doesn't matter for low light. It depends on the f-stop of the lens.
The kit lens is shite in low light, however that 50mm 1.8-f can see better than me.
