* The ICM claims that using .xxx domains will make it easy for parents to filter adult content because .xxx sites are required to use certain metatags.
---> Every site, regardless of the domain used can use metatags that label the content on that site "for adults only". A lot of webmasters have already been doing that for a long time.
---> The few .xxx sites that are already up and running do not have any special metatags. So the ICM does not enforce its own rules?

* The .xxx tld is not just another tld. It's a tld with certain rules governing the use of those .xxx domains. We still don't know what those rules are. We know the ICM created a panel of people who can give advise on what those rules should look like, but we still don't know what those rules are or what they will be in the future.

In other words: You could invest a lot of money in building a .xxx site, invest in branding, traffic, links etc and find out 2 years from now that you are only allowed to use cc processors that are approved by the ICM or only use content in niches that have been approved by the ICM or only send certain types of promotional messages to your members or only use certain pricing schemes or...

* In the years leading up to the approval of the .xxx tld, the ICM and the people representing it have told more lies and have been caught telling more lies than a snake oil salesman running for office.
