wow guy guys... sheesh! No one can know from pics what the story is. Sad to see so many judging another human being solely on a run of pictures. As for his size, maybe he was sick. That is sometimes par for the course when you end up globe trotting... there's some nasty shit out there and when stepping into a new region of the world for the first time... it's bound to hit your system hard if its a new bug to your body. My first trip to S.E. Asia had me on the same diet... dysentery from ice cubes made with tap water and an instant diet that made 10lbs vanish.
