My wife is half Jamaican. There is a huge difference in the resorts and tourist traps versus the places the locals go, especially regarding the food. If you enjoy different foods, get out away from the tourist spots.

You don't have an important meeting scheduled for 10 minutes after lunch, so chill, breath, and enjoy your cocktail.
