They can't force you to do business with them. In fact, in this day and age, you can run your own portfolio. Why are you paying a "bunch of criminals", to not produce/create anything if you don't want to? Who is forcing you to do so?
The answer is: NOONE is forcing you to do business with them, or anyone else. You make a choice to pay their fees, YOUR CHOICE.
Please tell me how the fact that you, and so many others, make a free choice to pay fees for wall street types to run their investments for them, is "inherently criminal".
