Hey DJ....

I am the owner of NationalNet and, as far as I know, we have never spoke. I was alerted to this thread and decided that I should at least look into your situation.

Let me say that I am truly very sorry that you were not happy with our service. We strive very hard to make every customer happy and, as much as it pains me, sometimes we are just not able to please every customer. When it comes to IP addresses, we might be a little more strict than some other providers but there is a good reason for it. We have staff members that are connected very high in the ARIN organization and this allows us a level of access that few companies have....and in the case of an emergency, this has been a huge help to many a customer. The downside is that we may ask for more justification prior to allocating our IP space. If this presented a problem for you, I sincerely do apologize.

As for our agreement, you are right in that it is way more pages than I would like. In fact, when I first bought NationalNet almost 15 years ago every company in the industry had long term contracts but we didn't require them at all. Our thought was that we wanted you to be happy to stay with us...not because of a contract. The problem was that as we grew and we began to expand we needed bankers and bankers wanted contracts so we had one written up and over the years it has grown....all just to please the bankers. Please read this very carefully....in the 10+ years that we have used these agreements ONLY ONCE have we sued a client for breach and that client owed me $1,000,000 in arrears and another $3,000,000 for the contract. All I wanted was the past due balance. I promise you that you cannot produce another client that we have sued. It is just not the way we do business.

DJ, we try really hard to offer the best service money can buy...and based on our growth and the number of clients that have been with us for five, six, seven, eight years or more, I think we are doing right most of the time. As I said before, I am truly sorry that in your case you feel that we failed.

If you would ever like to try again, I would love another opportunity to meet your needs and I would strive extra hard to make you happy.
