It would be like me saying I only spend $50 a week on groceries. Also $35 on meat but that falls in the protein category and $10 on soap but that falls into 'personal health'. etc.

Either way I guess I don't quite understand why someone would want to take out large amounts of cash, store it in a safe, carry hundreds around on them instead of just paying $5 a month to use a debit card. Or better yet keep paying $0 and use that same card as a cc. But to each his own I guess.

And on a completely different subject. When you have kids you don't have to be a shut in. My wife and I have three and still go out and have fun on a regular basis. We enjoyed going out to dinner, a bar, maybe a movie or gambling before we had kids, why would our tastes change because we are now parents. Maybe not as much but if anything you appreciate the occasional strip club until 4am outing even more. You don't have to be 'young, dumb and full of cum' to go out. With that attitude and your itemized fruit costs you sound you have become that cranky old man every neighborhood has.
Most people don't take the wife out each week.

Whatever you want to think, we've been spending that for while now.

Because that's how I like to do it, it feels better and smarter to do it my way, to me.

Yeah, we enjoy going out sometimes too... but that doesn't cost much here. $20 in drinks here and you're trashed... that's two drinks in Vegas.

Not cranky at all, we live different lives.
