People have always tried to go "direct", DJ - dating all the way back to just AFTER the Pam Anderson/Tommy Lee vid ... but most often (since Paris) it ends up in KB's lap at some point in the process.

Mike, you're smarter than that, man! It's not about 'the guy' ... it's about THIS GUY ... Tupac Shakur.
THIS GUY sold nearly 20 million "albums" worldwide before getting killed. Fans that were kids 15 yrs ago when he died are still fans. In the 15 years since he died he's sold another 60+ million "albums" ... bringing him younger and newer fans. His music is still played on the radio and in clubs DAILY! His Greatest hits "album" is still in iTunes Top 200 ... and that came out in 1998! THIS GUY was a controversial figure when he was alive and always in the news, people are still talking about conspiracy theories surrounding his death AND along the way ... he somehow became a huge icon to a generation of music lovers.
IF it could ever be released it would be one of the most watched videos in the internet age ... it likely won't BUT I'd bank on the fact people worldwide would want to see it BECAUSE it is Tupac
